New Gravestone Galleries
I’ve added gravestones from two new cemeteries in the Galleries section: Bowman’s Cemetery and Cedar Hill Cemetery in Ephrata Borough, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. This is in addition to the Emanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery gravestones that were already available. Most of these gravestones are from members of the Hacker/Hocker and affiliated families.

I have information on Lavina Hocker 10th child of Johannes (John) Hocker and Elizabeth Henry( Heinrich). Lavina married Aquilla Brandt and Lheir son Edgar Hocker Brandt was my grandfather. Let me know if you want more information>
Rosemary, I’d love more information on this family. All I have is the following:
Lavinia Hocker, daughter of Johannes W. and Elizabeth (Henry) Hocker, married Acquilla Brandt on 1 Dec 1868 in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. They lived in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania where he was a farmer. They had at least 5 children:
1. Edgar Hocker Brandt, b. 3 Oct 1869, d. 10 Dec 1955
2. Elizabeth Elda Brandt, b. 28 Aug 1871, d. 11 Apr 1885
3. Herman Acquilla Brandt, b. 9 Oct 1875, d. ?
4. Carrie May Brandt, b. 15 Jan 1878, d. 15 Aug 1878
5. John Brandt, b. 14 Feb 1883, d. 11 May 1883
