Product Description
Marriage and death records for early Pennsylvania are not easy to come by. Except for the period 1852 to 1854, Pennsylvania counties did not start recording marriages and deaths until the late 19th century.
Church records and newspaper notices are the only records available for pre-1852 and 1854 through 1885. This book contains marriage and death notices from the Harrisburg Chronicle from March 1820 through March 1834. It’s a great resource for the family genealogist with ancestors who lived in Dauphin or the surrounding counties.
Includes an every name index. Available in paperback and PDF formats.
