The Frantz Family of Lancaster County

I can trace my Frantz family line back to Johannes “Hans” Frantz [Jr.] and his presumed father Johannes “Hans” Frantz [Sr.] of Manor Township. There are three generations of Frantz men names John, starting with the immigrant, and, thus, there has been some confusion between generations. This collection starts with the second generation.

The Weidman Family of Gräben and Lancaster County

In 1733, Johann Martin Weidman immigrated to Pennsylvania on board the ship Elizabeth with his father Johann Matthias Weidman, step-mother Maria Catharina (Stengler) Weidman, father-in-law Johann Henrich Still, wife Anna Margaretha (Still) Weidman, his children, and some young siblings. Martin is my seven times great grandfather.

This collection contains biographies of several family members.

Johann Martin Weidman (1698-1768)
Johann Christoph Weidman (1724-1794)

The Michael Huber Family of Germany and Pennsylvania

Michael Huber and his sons immigrated prior to 1758 and settled first in Pennsylvania before moving to Washington County, Maryland by the early 1770s. Not long thereafter family members moved further west in Bedford County, Somerset County, and Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. This collection includes biographies for descendants of this family.
